The Crowbar

Down at Tilba Tilba,

When Doug was still a youth,

His crowbar was a treasure,

A tool he could not lose.

Then he found it missing,

Doug’s manhood was destroyed,

Leaving him distraught and sad,

He had lost his pride and joy.

But God gave Doug forgiveness,

In turn Doug became a lever,

Moving people to our Lord,

For Doug became a preacher.

Yes! God wants all to be a preacher,

A crowbar in fact,

An implement he can use,

To make a big impact.

So let’s become a mover,

A crowbar not a sword,

Let us move the nation,

Be a crowbar for the Lord.
