A Life of Peace Supreme

In the golden hue of morning,

Bathed in sunrays gold,

We gather here in tribute,

To our ANZACS brave and bold.

In solemnity we honour those,

Who fought at Anzac Cove,

And gave their lives in battle,

For the freedom we have known.

We remember the Light Horse and its charge,

The fields with crosses white,

The blood stained fields of Flanders,

Where our heroes paid the price.

That’s why we remember them,

With our tributes year by year,

It’s knowing they will be enhanced,

Through the children gathered here.

So, may our tributes never wane,

As time puts years between,

When our ANZACS fought for freedom,

And a life of peace supreme.

Yes, we remember them!

Lest we forget.
